Conrad was admitted to Lincoln's Inn and called to the English Bar in 1993. He was called to the Malaysian Bar in 1994 and commenced his legal career at a prominent litigation firm in Kuala Lumpur. He was admitted as a partner there in 1999, before joining a litigation boutique in 2000 as a partner. In 2009, Conrad together with Gopal and Mark established Sreenevasan Young.

Conrad's entire career has been in litigation, and in that time he has acted for a diverse portfolio of clients in a broad spectrum of areas, and is regularly engaged for trial and appellate work particularly in complex litigation. Many of Conrad's cases have been reported in the journals.

He has a breadth of experience and is well-known for his versatility and ability to provide strategic advice.

He brings to the table a combination of tenacity and ease in his handling of even the most difficult of cases.

Conrad speaks regularly at seminars and events on continuing legal education as well as that targeted to industry participants.
