Mark began his career at one of the leading law firms in Kuala Lumpur after being called to the Malaysian Bar in 1998. In 2002, Mark joined a litigation boutique practice, where he was admitted as a partner in 2004. In 2009, Mark together with Gopal and Conrad established Sreenevasan Young.

Mark's career is focused solely in litigation, including providing pragmatic strategic advice to his clients, which allows them to manage and minimize both business and legal risks.

Mark has appeared as counsel in all tiers of the Malaysian Courts, and his cases can be found in the journals. Mark is a contributor to Halsbury’s Laws of Malaysia: Civil Procedure, 2007 Reissue’ and Halsbury’s Laws of Malaysia: Agency, 2010 Reissue’. He has also contributed to Atkin’s Court Forms-Appeals (Issue 59): November 2009’ - the Malaysian edition. He is also a regular speaker at events organized by the State Bar Committee and private organisations. Mark has also written papers on insurance fraud and company law matters.
